HANGARSIDE

Terms of service

Last updated 19.10.2026 · Draft, to be reviewed before launch

These terms apply when you order a service from Hangarside, a trading name of [company name, legal form, NIF/company number and registered address].

1. Services and prices

The services, what each includes and their prices are described on our website at the time of your order. Prices include VAT where it applies [confirm VAT treatment with the accountant]. Launch offer: 25% off the Career File, Career Care and the newcomer assessment for orders placed until 19.01.2027; after that date the regular prices apply.

2. Placement is always free for engineers

We never charge engineers for finding work, job matching, representation or placement. Our fee is paid by the employer or agency. Paid services are optional and are never a condition of being presented for a role.

3. Delivery and refund if late

We deliver paid files within 3 working days of receiving complete documents. If something is missing, we tell you within one working day and the period starts when it arrives. If we are late, we refund the fee in full.

4. Refund if we place you

If you start a contract or permanent role through Hangarside within 12 months of buying a Career File, we refund what you paid for it. For Career Care, we refund the first year. Refunds are paid within 30 days of your start date.

5. Your right to cancel

You can cancel within 14 days of ordering. If you ask us to start work during that period and the service is then fully delivered, the right to cancel ends; if it is partly delivered, we refund the part not yet done. Career Care renews each year only if you confirm it.

6. What our assessments are

Recency checks, letters and dossiers are advisory. They apply 66.A.20(b)(2), AMC 66.A.20(b)2 and 145.A.35(c) to the records you supply. The organisation that issues your authorization, or your competent authority, makes the final decision. You are responsible for the accuracy of the documents you send.

7. Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit. [to be reviewed by a lawyer]

8. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law [confirm with the accountant if the company is a UK Ltd]. Consumers can also use the online dispute resolution options available in their country.

9. Employers and agencies

Placement fees, guarantees and payment terms for organisations are agreed in separate written terms of business before we introduce any candidate.
